Get to Know Jon (he/him)
Jon grew up under the wide open skies of the Canadian prairies, and experienced the joys (and challenges) of farm life and work in Saskatchewan. After earning his B.A., he moved to Vancouver to study ethics at Regent College where he earned his masters.
For the past decade Jon has lived and worked in Edmonton as a clinical ethicist, a field that allows him to enter others' lives when they are in the crux of difficult decisions. Through this work, he has realized that people are best able to move forward not when someone tells them what to do, but when they feel listened to and empowered to take ownership of their decisions.
Jon loves to be a catalyst to help people discover how their values, goals, and dreams impact their leadership and momentum. Whether clients find themselves in places of transition (leaving a job, starting a new project, retiring, etc.) or simply in a place of wanting to strengthen their leadership and productivity, Jon is privileged to meet them in the crossroads.
In 2017 Jon earned his graduate certificate in executive coaching through Royal Roads University in Victoria. He is a member of the International Coach Federation.
When he’s not working, you can find him sharpening his wilderness survival skills, planning a backcountry trip, or simply enjoying the river valley with his kids.
