Can you and your team articulate things like:
What are our team values?
How do we want to communicate?
How will we deal with conflict?
What are our “norms” for how we function best together?
If not, your team needs a charter. A team charter guides you in each of these things (and more) so that you can work well together to serve the bigger purposes of your ministry.
Join our free, online workshop where we will guide you through how to get started.
This free, online workshop is the last in our Fall Grow series.
Abby Buter will teach you to recognize and respond to trauma as you provide pastoral care in your ministry. More details coming soon, but mark your calendars now!
Part of our Fall Grow Series. This free, online workshop will help pastors and ministry leaders think through how their church might be involved in the work of truth and reconciliation. Led by Jodi Spargur, this workshop is one not to miss. More details coming soon!
Location: King’s Fold Retreat Centre outside of Cochrane, Alberta
Cost: $385 for shared occupancy, $475 for single.
This retreat isn’t a “sit and listen to a speaker” kind of retreat. Instead, picture yourself nestled in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains with other women in ministry, eating delicious food, walking through the beautiful retreat centre grounds, reading by the fire, or creating art in the Green House.
Our time together will include contemplative practices, listening circles, times of silence, and rich conversation. We anticipate laughter, connection, rest, and space to connect with God.
Your facilitators will be Julianne Gilchrist and Pamela Ukrainetz.
Free, online. Part of our Grow Workshop Series.

Why attend the Hospital Visits: A Refresher?
1. Learn from the Experts: Our panel of experienced chaplains have spent years working alongside patients, understanding their needs, and providing meaningful support during their hospital stays. They will share their expertise, wisdom, and personal anecdotes, ensuring you gain invaluable knowledge.
2. Brush Up on Skills: Whether you're a seasoned ministry professional or just starting out, this workshop will empower you to refine your skills. We will cover various aspects of pastoral visits, including how to prepare, what a visit might look like, resources you can access, and tips for becoming more comfortable in a hospital setting.
3. Build confidence: Engaging with patients and their families in a hospital setting can be challenging. This workshop aims to help you feel more comfortable the next time you step into a hospital room for a pastoral visit.
4. Ask your questions: What is it you have always wondered about when you do a hospital visit? While we will ask our panel of chaplains a series of prepared questions, you will have a chance to ask those things that are most pressing on your mind.
